About the campaign

Hesitation costs lives

Women are less likely than men to receive bystander CPR in public, and substantially less likely to be defibrillated.

Fear of inappropriate touching, uncertainty about hand placement, worry about causing harm and concern about how it looks can all delay lifesaving action. They're Boobies. Not Barriers. exists to close that gap.

  • It's an emergency. Cardiac arrest is not a social situation. Act fast.
  • Same place to press. CPR is done in the centre of the chest. Breasts do not change where you press.
  • AED pads go on skin. One pad on the upper right chest, one on the lower left side. Lift the breast if needed.

Women need CPR too.
